There are tens of thousands of network marketers in social networking sites like Facebook. The most under-use or misuse of Facebook as a marketing tool and a very small minority use it to great effectiveness in lead generation and marketing business. Below is a quick set of guidelines for how it should and should not use Facebook to generate good quality leads, promote your business and build relationships with your contacts.
1. If you have a Facebook account that is used for social interaction with friends and family and contains a large amount of personal information I suggest you set up a secondary account to be used solely for marketing purposes only. Potential customers and business partners will not be interested in what was for dinner which he left Saturday night and all general announcements from your social circle.
2. Your photo is the first impression that someone is looking at the page will get you. So you want to photograph to show you is an intelligent professional who is serious. Needless to say, evocative images, with tight clothes and revealing or too casual and untidy appearance will not send the right message. 3. Has more photos on your page, but again use common sense and discretion with what you put in place. A great photo of you on vacation to participate in any sport or leisure activity with a large fund is fine. A photograph of you and your friends are looking worse for wear at 3 am on Saturday morning after a big night could not send the right message.
